We built the dating app we actually wanted to use.
Dating apps quietly stopped being about dating. They became games of endless scrolling, uncertain who’s real, with matches that live and die in the chat. We wanted the opposite: fewer, better introductions - and a genuine reason to leave the house.
The problem we kept hitting
You match, you chat, it fizzles, or it never even feels real, because half the profiles could be bots. The apps optimised for time-on-screen, not for two people actually meeting. Somewhere along the way the point got lost.
Our answer: fewer, better, real
We pair Glance Chat, which genuinely learns you, with real venues you already go to. One recommends a handful of people and tells you why; the other lets you discover who’s nearby and open to meeting someone new. Both aim at the same thing - a real date.
Starting local, on purpose
We open one city at a time, only once there are enough verified locals to make it worth it. It's slower, but it means when Glance arrives where you are, there are actually people to meet.
What we believe
Real over endless
Fewer, better introductions beat a bottomless grid every time.
Safe by default
Verification and safety aren't features bolted on - they're the foundation.
Off the screen
The best outcome isn't more app time. It's you, out, meeting someone.
